We’ve all enjoyed our time off over the winter. I’ve been to Rome and Marrakesh, Wendy and Shirley have visited Portugal and Berlin. We’ve had a lovely time but looking forward to coming back to work rejuvenated and ready for the year ahead.

We’ve made a few changes to the tearoom, a lovely new kitchen and display counter and new flooring has given the place a new lease of life. Thanks to all who helped with the work – it looks great!

We’re still offering much the same menu, although this year we have added a savoury tea; homemade cheese scones and butter served with Mature Cheddar Cheese and chutney. So for those of you without a sweet tooth you can try this instead of the traditional cream tea.

I’ve also got a few more cupcake gifts on offer including tea cosies, candles, money boxes and salt and pepper pots. Old Mill Tea Room postcards, coasters, placemats and magnets still available. We look forward to seeing all the regular faces again as well as new customers. If you haven’t been in before, please give us a try!
