Sunday 3rd June
Karaoke showcase on the Lawn Bandstand hosted by the 'inimitable' Tony England. Winner will perform for the Party in the Park in the evening line-up. It is also intended to have a Church Service held at St Gregory's welcoming all faiths entitled "The United Diamond Jubilee Thanksgiving Service".
Monday 4th June
'Party in the Park' organised by the Royal British Legion. After last year's huge success the Jubilee event will be a full day opening with 'The Armed Forces Day' march to the lawn, followed by a range of performers offering a diverse musical taste for everyone. Dawlish is blessed with some wonderful musical talent and this will showcase all that is good from the town as well as other bands from the area. As part of the Jubilee celebrations nationwide, a total of 2,012 beacons will be lit throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, the Commonwealth and the UK Overseas Territories - and Dawlish has been included in this huge event. The Mayor of Dawlish will light the beacon to include the town in the worldwide celebrations.
Tuesday 5th June
Jubilee Day - a Diamond Jubilee 'Picnic in the Park' on the Lawn to welcome everyone, especially families with children. The biggest "street party" ever and lots of attractions to make this a day to remember.
Wednesday 6th June
Events in both Dawlish Warren & the Lawn.
Thursday 7th June
Armed Forces Theme Day - a family day of displays and entertainment for all ages (Organised by Dawlish Air Show committee).
Friday 8th June
The Dawlish Air Show 2012 - one of the biggest days in the Dawlish calendar. A full programme of events for the day and evening is planned.
Saturday 9th June
Ending the week's proceedings with a Grand Jubilee Party to be held in the Marquee.
