We’ve had a good year but I am looking forward to my holidays! We will open again in February, usually on the Saturday of the half term week and hope to see everyone then.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. It’s been a more challenging year than previous years and we really appreciate every one of our customers ranging from local people, to day trippers from nearby towns, to people on holiday in Dawlish or the surrounding areas.  We understand money is tight for some and are very grateful that you choose to visit the tearoom and hope that you will all return again in the future.

We have received some lovely comments in our visitors’ book over the year which means a lot to us. It is so nice to hear when someone enjoys a visit to the tearoom and it really does ‘make our day’ when we read the comments at the end of a long and busy day.

I am already thinking about next year and what new items I can offer or try out. I think I am going to expand my Cream Tea offerings. As I mentioned before I have trialled a Black Forest Cream Tea and also a Lemon Cream Tea, so the thinking cap is on to come up with some more – any suggestions?!
